Ryan McMahan, PE

Ryan graduated from North Carolina State University in 2003 with a bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering and minors in graphic communication and business.  Ryan became involved in forensic engineering while studying at NCSU and has practiced as a consulting engineer in the field of accident investigation and analysis since graduation. Ryan is a licensed professional engineer and a founding partner of Impact Forensics, PLLC.

Ryan’s areas of work and expertise include technical investigations, engineering analysis, failure analysis, and accident reconstruction involving commercial motor vehicles, passenger vehicles, off-road vehicles, motorcycles, bicycles, pedestrians, and heavy equipment.

Ryan has a proven record of providing thorough and candid communication to his clients. Ryan has worked on numerous forensic investigations throughout the United States.  He has extensive experience in communicating technical information in a straightforward and effective manner for mediation, depositions, and trial.
